The Chongqing Jiulong Bosai Project aims to produce 3.6 million tons of low-sodium alumina annually with a planned total investment of 7.5 billion yuan. It is currently the largest single investment project for alumina production nationwide with the fastest construction period requirement. The project adopts the most advanced Bayer process technology in the aluminum oxide industry along with supporting facilities such as power supply systems, raw material storage yards, water supply and drainage systems, comprehensive utilization systems for waste heat and by-products recycling, environmental protection facilities, fire safety facilities, finished product warehouses,and spare parts warehouses - all featuring large-scale equipment integration.

As part of the "Wanzhou No.1 Project," Jiulong Bosai Special Aluminum New Material Project has created a modernized,intelligent,and garden-like factory that represents green,circular,and low-carbon enterprises.It has been included as one of the first batch carbon emission pilot projects by Chongqing City,making new contributions to Wanzhou District's economic constructionand social development.

Energy-saving and environmental protection in alumina production has always been a pain point for the industry. Therefore, this project sets higher requirements for energy conservation and environmental protection.
