Good News! National-Level Recognition +1: Qinghai Guoyuan's Hardcore Technology Selected as a "China Good Technology"

"China Good Technology" is hosted by the China Association of Productivity Promotion Centers and serves as an important national benchmark for evaluating technological innovation capabilities. The program solicits high-quality technological achievements with innovativeness, practicality, and scalability from across the country. Following rigorous selection through formal review, expert evaluation, public announcement, and other procedures, outstanding projects are ultimately included in the "China Good Technology" project library. This year's selection was highly competitive, bringing together high-quality scientific and technological innovation projects from various fields across the country to compete on the same stage. The selected projects represent the advanced technological level in their respective fields.

Leveraging World-Class Salt Lake Resources to Forge Key Energy-Saving Production Technologies

Qinghai Guoyuan was established in 2019 in the Delingha Industrial Park of Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province. It is the core operating enterprise through which the Energy and Chemicals Industry Division of Continental Hope Group, relying on its core technological advantages and leveraging the abundant salt lake resources and clean energy of Haixi Prefecture, is committed to building the "Hope Cloud Business Park" zero-carbon green energy and chemical industrial park. The company's main products include sodium chlorate, potassium perchlorate, sodium perchlorate, ammonium perchlorate, liquid ammonia, and others, which are widely used in pharmaceuticals, printing and dyeing, metal products, uranium ore processing, aerospace, and other fields.

The selected project, "Key Technology Industrialization for Efficient Refining of Sodium Chloride Resources from High-Altitude Salt Lakes and Energy-Saving Production of Chlorate and Perchlorate Series Products," directly addresses the dual challenges of high-altitude salt lake resource development and energy-intensive chemical production. Based on the efficient refining of salt lake sodium chloride resources, the project achieves energy-saving production and large-scale manufacturing of chlorate and perchlorate series products through electrolysis process innovation and systematic integration optimization, significantly reducing unit product energy consumption and production costs, and forging an efficient conversion pathway of "resources—technology—products—industrialization."

In industrialization practice, Qinghai Guoyuan, taking into account the actual conditions of the plateau, independently developed a "sodium chlorate—sodium perchlorate—potassium perchlorate" co-production process route, establishing a complete salt lake chlorate industry chain. This has opened up a new, efficient, and environmentally friendly production pathway for the industry and set a benchmark for scientific and technological innovation in the salt lake chemical field.

Distinct Green and Low-Carbon Foundation with Continuously Strengthened Development Momentum

As a national-level green factory and a high-tech enterprise in Qinghai Province, Qinghai Guoyuan has consistently adhered to the principle of "energy conservation, carbon reduction, and green development", systematically implementing ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001, and safety standardization systems. The company continues to increase investment in research and development and has obtained multiple invention patents, utility model patents, and proprietary technologies, with products exported to numerous countries worldwide. Currently, the company's annual 30,000-ton potassium perchlorate project is being accelerated, and the supporting MVR high-salinity wastewater treatment facility, through the recovery and utilization of substances such as potassium perchlorate and sodium chloride, has established a full-volume treatment system for high-salinity inorganic wastewater, becoming a core highlight of the project's environmental protection technology. During the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, the company will also build an annual 120,000-ton sodium chlorate project and an annual 60,000-ton liquid ammonia project, further expanding the scale of its green high-end new materials industry.

Anchoring the World-Class Salt Lake Industrial Base and Contributing Hope's Strength

Relying on the industry resources of the Energy and Chemicals Industry Division of Continental Hope Group as the chairman unit of the Chlorate Branch of the China Inorganic Salts Industry Association, Qinghai Guoyuan will continue to strengthen scientific and technological innovation, refine and optimize its leading industries, continuously extend, supplement, and strengthen the industrial chain, and accelerate its transformation and upgrading toward digitalization, intelligentization, and greening.
